How did the VORTEX 2 project do?

VORTEX 2 (Verification of the Origins of Rotation in Tornadoes Experiment 2) was the largest research project in history to explore how, when and why tornadoes form.  While it was pretty quiet last summer, not ideal for storm chasing, they did manage to find a couple good storms.  You can watch a recap of the project here!
