It's a bird...it's a plane....

....it's a meteor?  No, you weren't imagining things last night if you suddenly saw the sky light up a little after 10pm Wednesday night.  Calls started pouring in from the public to local law enforcement as well as TV stations across the Midwest.   It could be seen from Northern Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.  In the top image on the left, you can see it begin to move closer to the earth's atmosphere and then break apart as it does!  The fireball was also caught by a Howard County Iowa sheriff's deputy (who just happened to have his camera pointed in the right direction).  Click here to watch that video (provided to the National Weather Service Quad Cities by KWWL-TV)
