Storms continue; may back-build this morning

Heavy rainfall will continue to fall from Rockford through Belvidere down into DeKalb county this morning.  Watch for ponding on roadways and flooding along small creeks and streams as the ground is already fairly saturated from the storms last night and early this morning.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning now for DeKalb and Lee counties until 7am.  The storms moving through Whiteside county this morning will continue to move east around 45 mph.  Heavy rainfall and damaging wind gusts have been reported with this line as it moved  out of eastern Iowa.
