Tornado at Churchill Downs

This afternoon, the National Weather Service confirmed a tornado hit Churchill Downs in Louisville Wednesday afternoon, damaging five barns and buckling cinder block walls. Tornado experts said the tornado was an EF-2 (winds near 120 mph) for part of its 1.2-mile damage path, and was at EF-1 level (100-105 mph winds) as it moved through Churchill Downs.
