Enjoying some very comfortable temperatures across the Stateline this evening, and notice the Heat Index....it's not a factor! The low humidity is the game changer for this nice weather, being able to step outside without that muggy feeling in the air. We keep these nice conditions for the rest of the evening, and the clear skies and lack of moisture in the air will actually allow for a fairly cool overnight.
As we go into the overnight winds will become calm, further enhancing the cooling process. This will bring us down into the mid 50's during the overnight, something we haven't seen in a while.
This high pressure system to the northeast will push some cooler air into our area going through the night, and even for Saturday as well. We'll only hit the low 80's Saturday afternoon, but it'll feel great as this high pressure keeps the muggy air out of our area.
This high will continue influencing us through the entire weekend. That means sunshine, mild temperatures, and low humidity through Sunday! However, once we head into the work week, temperatures warm into the upper 80's, with dew points looking to climb back into the upper 60's, so enjoy the more comfortable weather while you can.
A low pressure system will form out west during the weekend, and along with bringing the warm and muggy conditions to start the work week, it'll also bring a few rain chances towards the middle of next week.
