Half Way Through Summer

Just seems like the summer season goes by so quickly, and this year is no different.  Yesterday (Sunday) was the beginning of July and this means we are entering into our half-way point of summer.  Meteorological Summer consists of the three month period of June, July and August, climatologically the three hottest months out of the year.

The average high temperature during the month of July ranges between 84 and 85 degrees.  Although we know it can get a lot hotter than that not only during the month of July, but in June and August as well.  Average high temperatures begin to fall during the month of August, before reaching climatologically the coldest month of the year in January.
