It's nice to finally see this view on our skycam after dealing with the ominous storms that moved through the area Friday evening. Cloud cover will continue breaking up this evening, turning partly cloudy for the rest of the night. However, it will stay pretty warm and muggy, and this will allow for some patchy fog to occur during the overnight.
Temperatures will cool to the low 70's again overnight, but dew points temperatures won't be much different once we get passed 2am. This will give us some patchy fog, which will last into early Sunday morning.
Any lingering patchy fog clears up after 9am, after which we'll see partly cloudy skies through mid day, where temperatures will hit the low 80s.
However, the afternoon will be fairly toasty as temperatures will climb to the mid 80's while keeping the humid conditions, so heat indices will get into the 90's, so keep that in mind if heading outdoors tomorrow.
Dew point temperatures will become even more muggy once we get into Sunday afternoon. They'll start at around 70° Sunday morning, then climb to the mid 70's afternoon, allowing for tropical-like conditions.
With the heat and humidity on the rise Sunday afternoon, and a weak cold front moving in from the northwest, a few isolated thunderstorms will be possible Sunday afternoon and early evening. However, none of these will be severe.
A pop up thunderstorm will be possible mi-day Monday as another front moves through, but then cooler temperatures in the low 80's and low humidity will arrive for most of the work week.
