Coolest Night in Over Seven Weeks

Tonight we're forecasting a low of 56 degrees for Rockford. The last time we saw a morning low close to this cool was July 3rd when the mercury dropped to 57 degrees. Tonight we'll have a bit of a breeze out of the northwest. This will keep temperatures from falling as low as they would under clear skies and light winds. With lighter winds in the forecast both Wednesday and Thursday nights, low temperatures will probably drop into the lower-50s! --TS
