In the Middle of a Dry Spell

The Stateline is in the middle of a dry spell. We haven't seen measurable rain since August 20th when 0.02" of rain fell on Rockford. The forecast is for dry weather to last until August 31st. This would make for an 11-day stretch of dry weather! We haven't seen a stretch like this since April 2010 when no measurable rain was received between April 9th and 22nd -- 14 days in a row.  --TS
