Severe Thunderstorm Watch
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for all of the Illinois counties in the Stateline viewing area through 9pm. In addition, Green and Rock counties (Wisconsin) are under a tornado watch through 9pm. A line of storms slowly crossing the Mississippi River as of this writing have a history of producing locally heavy rain and wind gusts of 60 mph in some locations. Although this line of storms now appears to be weakening, there is enough directional wind shear in the low-levels of the atmosphere for an isolated, weak tornado through the early evening hours. --TS
