So far, August 2010 is warmer and drier than normal. Our average high so far is 84.4. Our average low: 66.2. That's 3.2 degrees above the long-term average. In terms of rainfall, we've seen 1.93" so far this month, which is about 0.66" below the long-term average. The above normal temperatures will continue for the week ahead as the jet stream should generally ride to our north, keeping the cooler airmasses locked-up in Canada. The dry weather will continue for the most part as well, although we do have a chance of rain Friday into Saturday morning. --TS
