It's Warmer in Canada, eh?

Northeast winds thanks to high pressure have kept temperatures cooler across the Great Lakes, but our neighbors to the north in Canada...well I think this will be a first for me: "I wish I lived in Canada, eh".

The ridge of high pressure extends up through the Plains and into Canada with highs for some rising to what our average highs should be for this time of year.

For example:
Thompson, Manitoba:  Current temp: 16°C (60°F)
 - High for today: 25° (77°)

Winnipeg, Manitoba:  Current temp: 17°C (62°F)
 - High for today: 24°C (75°)

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan:  Current temp: 10° (50°)
 - High for today: 22° C (71°F)

Edmonton, Alberta:  Current temp: 9°C (48°)
 - High for today: 22°C (71°F)
