Melting Icebergs Help CO-2 Absorption

Scientists have found that melting icebergs off of Antarctica are helping absorb carbon dioxide in the atmosphere in an indirect way. Their meltwater has been found to contain significant amounts of iron, which is helping boost microscopic plant life. This plant life in-turn absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
