Here's a look at our latest drought monitor from this past Tuesday. The Stateline is still classified under a severe drought.
Here's a rough estimate of what we saw Thursday night into Friday. Many parts of the viewing area, including Rockford, saw over an inch of rain.
Even with this rain, a lot of questions still remain. How big of an impact will this have on our current drought? After this weekend, the long-term forecast goes dry again, so will this rain even mean anything? Guess we'll have to wait and see... -BA
