Stateline Drought Seeing Big Improvements

Drought Monitor: Jan. 29th & Feb. 5th
All of the wintry weather we've seen in February is making a big difference when it comes to the Stateline's current drought. February has already seen over an inch in total precipitation and for the year, we're 2.47" of precip above normal!

As you can see, this active weather has made a big difference in our drought conditions. The drought monitor for January 29th had most of the Stateline under a severe drought. Just a week later (February 5th), the entire area had been downgraded to a moderate drought.

Even better news for the drought? More rain is in the forecast for Sunday. Model runs are showing a good 0.25" of rain possible Sunday, which could further put a dent in our dry conditions.
