Fog & drizzle Tuesday morning

10:40am Update: The Dense Fog Advisory has been extended until 1:00pm for Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Carroll, Winnebago, DeKalb, Boone, Ogle, Lee, and Whiteside counties. The Dense Fog Advisory has been extended until Wednesday at Noon for Rock, Walworth, and Green counties in Southern Wisconsin. The fog will continue through the afternoon and even into tonight until the warm front moves through Wednesday.

A Dense Fog Advisory continues through 11am for: Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Carroll, Whiteside, Green, Winnebago, Boone, Ogle, Lee and DeKalb counties.  Dense fog has formed this morning north of a warm front that will move through later this evening and tonight.

Several weak upper level disturbances moving from west to east this morning will keep scattered light showers and drizzle throughout the afternoon.  While rainfall totals won't be much, the rain today will be more of a nuisance than anything.  With the fog this morning, remember your low beams and allow yourself extra time getting to where you need to go.  Skies will remain hazy through the afternoon until the warm front passes tonight.
