Sunday Snow Impacts

Though we saw ample sunshine on Saturday, that high pressure system will quickly move out of here as our next weather maker approaches from the Central Plains.  Sunday morning, expect some flakes to fly but expect the majority of the snow to start falling into the afternoon and especially into Sunday evening.  Most of the snow should be moved out before the Monday morning commute.
Only 1" to 2" will fall around Northern Illinois with maybe 3" possible in Southern Wisconsin.  Our Wisconsin counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory with 3" to 5" possible, however I think we'll be on the lower tier of that.

I agree with our in-house computer model that widespread only a couple inches will be expected with locally heavy hotspots up to 3" possible. - MT
