Wind Chill Advisory Issued Wednesday Night

A Wind Chill Advisory will go into effect for northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin late Wednesday evening, lasting through mid-morning Thursday.

Highs on Wednesday warmed into the low to mid teens.  Wind chills were still below zero, but much improved from where they've been the past several days.  Following the passage of a cold front Wednesday morning, another cold air mass will spill southward Wednesday evening and night.  This will cause overnight lows to fall back below zero by Thursday morning.  Wind chills could fall as low as 25 degrees below zero.

Highs on Thursday and Friday will only warm into the single digits, but are expected to warm close to 30 degrees by late in the weekend.
