Cold Weather's Impact For Tuesday

The Stateline forecast will be an interesting one over the next 24 hours thanks in large part to a major blast of cold air.

It all starts with a FREEZE WARNING that will be in effect Monday night for the entire Stateline. Lows are expected to plummet into the upper 20s, meaning widespread frost by Tuesday morning.

A storm system passing to our south on Tuesday will bring the threat of a rain/snow mix, especially for the southern parts of the viewing area. The timing of this system will be mid-morning (7:00-8:00am) through the afternoon.

In fact, we could be talking a few periods of all snow through the afternoon, but with highs in the low 40s and very warm ground temperatures, don't expect much snow to stick. Worse case scenario, we get a short-lived dusting on some grassy areas. -BA
