Friday Severe Weather Outlook |
As for the Stateline, the farther north and west you are, the higher chances you have for more active weather. Those area are currently under a slight risk for severe weather--as indicated by the counties shaded in yellow.
The main threats from the storms are high wind gusts and possibly some hail. Some heavy downpours can't be ruled out either. Thursday's storms actually dropped quarter-sized hail and 60+ mph wind gusts in the Chicagoland area. That indicates, this system is potent enough to cause some more active weather on Friday. - MT
To recap:
- Highest threat of active weather is Friday afternoon and evening.
- Threat of severe storms are for our north and western counties
