Another Warm Month

August 2010 goes in the books as another warmer than average month for the Rockford area. Our average high was 84.7 degrees with an average low of 64.5, putting us at 74.6 degrees for our monthly mean. This is 3.7 degrees above the long-term average. August was (thankfully) a much drier month than July with 1.96" of rainfall. That's 2.25" below our average of 4.21".  --TS
