Few showers popping up

11:00am Update:  Watch for a few showers/storms to continue to roll through this morning and into the early afternoon.  Lightning along with a few brief, heavy rain showers can be expected.

With a warm front drapped across central Illinois the threat for showers/storms will continue through the morning.  We're already starting to see a few more pop up across eastern Iowa and those will continue to move east across the Mississippi River.  We should manage a little sunshine for the afternoon as the front lifts northward overnight.
