Thanks to David Hallberg of Harvard for sending in some amazing lightning photos of the storms as they moved through northern Illinois. The second set of photos is the leading edge of the storms as they are moving out of DeKalb County. Very gusty winds and heavy rain soon followed once the storms passed.
