The Storm Prediction Center out of Norman, OK has the Stateline under a slight risk for severe weather on Tuesday afternoon and evening. A very warm, and humid airmass (especially for this time of year) will reside over the area tonight and tomorrow. An approaching cold front will provide the source of lift needed to generate strong to severe thunderstorms past about 3pm. The main threat with these storms will be hail 1" in diameter or larger. A secondary threat will be winds in excess of 60 mph. Behind this front, slightly cooler and less humid weather will await us on Wednesday. Then another low pressure system moving-in from the southwest will destabilize the atmosphere again on Thursday. --TS
