Hot So Far, No Relief in Sight

So far in 2011, we've experienced 15 days with temperatures of 90 degrees or hotter. As the graphic at left shows, our long-term average is 14.3 days at 90 degrees or higher each year. Summer is less than half-done in the Stateline, so we could see more than 30 days at or above 90 degrees if we keep at the current pace!

The 6-10 and 8-14 day outlooks do indicate the above average temperatures should continue across the Stateline. Not good news, unless you happen to like consistent heat! Stay hydrated out there!
