Deadly Tornado Outbreak Occurred One Year Ago Today

Wednesday's cold front was a lot different than a storm system that moved through much of Illinois February 28th, 2017.  It was one year ago today that a deadly tornado outbreak occurred over northern Illinois, killing two people and injuring 14 in the Naplate-Ottawa area in LaSalle County.

Closer to home an EF-1 tornado did damage outside of Oregon in Ogle County a little after 5pm that evening.
