Foggy Morning Commute

It's been a slow commute for many, with a dense fog advisory in place for the Stateline area. The advisory will last through 10am this morning. Once some of the thickest fog thins, lingering fog will continue through the early afternoon. This will limit how warm we get today, thankfully we started in the mid to upper 30's, so high temperatures will climb to near 40°.

But visibility for many have dropped to a few hundred feet in many locations. It will be a morning to keep you low beams on, even after the sun is up. This is so other drivers can see you as well. You'll want to take it slow through the morning and into the early afternoon, and to keep away extra distance from other drivers.

It will be a damp afternoon, once some of the fog clears. We'll keep a slight chance for a few light afternoon showers, along with areas of drizzle. A cold front will pass late this afternoon and will help to bring in drier air tonight into tomorrow morning.
