Temps Saturday morning were the chilliest we've seen since May 13th; this is a true indication that we're transitioning into the fall months. Astronomical autumn begins on September 22nd.

Saturday Morning Lows |
Sunday will stay relatively cool with temps only climbing to the mid 60s for highs. This is due to ample cloud cover and plenty of rainfall. When comparing 17 computer models, the average amount is over 1/2" however a few models wanted to bring as much as 1.25" of rain on Sunday. On the low end of things, one model only brings 0.36" of rain. I think a safe bet is that most of us will see 1/2" or more of rain on Sunday.
This is good news because about 60% of Illinois is seeing abnormally dry conditions. - MT
