Monday morning weather update
Visibility continues to drop this morning ahead of a warm front currently in central Illinois. Clouds and fog will stick around through the morning until the front lifts into Wisconsin by early afternoon. Temperatures behind the front will rise into the low 90s today, but if the clouds and fog stick around a little longer then temperatures will be held in the upper 80s.
We remain right on the outer edge of the upper level ridge and warming temperatures aloft should help prevent thunderstorms from developing with the warm front. However, a few showers have been bubbling up in northern Missouri that will be monitored through the morning. If they hold together long enough areas along the Mississippi River could see a few showers early this afternoon.
