Welcome to Fall! Meteorological Fall that is....

While fall doesn't 'officially' start until the 22nd, Meteorological Fall began yesterday, September 1st.  Temperatures this week will feel a little more like they should for this time of year with highs in the 70's today and tomorrow and a return of the 80's by the end of the week.

Meteorological Fall is the three month period from September 1st to November 30th and usually brings the greatest temperature swing over that three month period.  Average high temperatures during the beginning of September should be right around 80° with overnight low near 59°.  However, when Meteorological Fall ends the average high temperatures drops to the upper 30's with overnight lows in the low 20's.
