Record Low Tied Monday Morning

High pressure was quick to move in Sunday night bringing temperatures down into the teens Monday morning.  The official low fell to 18 degrees in Rockford, which tied the previous record low set all the way back in 1896! 


It won't be quite that cold Monday night as southerly winds and abundant cloud cover will work together to keep our temperatures in the mid 30's.
