Hurricane Michael Moves into the Gulf - Impacts to the Gulf Coast this Week

Hurricane Michael is a Category One hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 85 mph and moving to the North at 12mph.  As Michael moves into the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, it is forecast quickly strengthen to a Category Two hurricane by Tuesday, and then to a Category Three hurricane by Wednesday.  Current forecasts have Michael reaching the Panhandle Coast of Florida Wednesday afternoon, near Panama City, as a Category Three hurricane - maximum sustained winds of 115mph.
