After some showers and thunderstorms overnight, some sunshine will make it's presence know today. Today's sunshine will be a nice break from the rain, so it should be a terrific Thursday. Temperatures have been falling throughout the morning and early afternoon hours from our high we hit back at midnight. The break from the rain is short lived, as more rain moves in tonight and lingers through early next week.
We were still rather mild before the cold front dipped through bringing showers and storms to the area last night. As a result, we hit our highs for today back at midnight.
Much of the area at 12am was still in the upper 60s and lower 70s, but then the cold front came through and cooled us right off.
Temperatures late this morning are in the upper 40s and lower 50s throughout the Stateline area. A noticeable change...
... because compared to this time yesterday we are over 20°-25° cooler throughout much of the viewing area.
