Widespread Frost, Possible Freeze, by the End of the Week

Temperatures will nose dive with the passage of a cold front Wednesday evening, bringing highs from the 80's Monday and Tuesday, down into the low 30's Thursday and Friday night!

Winds will remain gusty from the South during the day Wednesday before the cold front passes, but once it does the wind direction will shift to the West and then Northwest by Wednesday night.  Wind gusts will increase to 35mph during the overnight Wednesday and remain gusty through the day Thursday.  This will keep temperatures on Thursday right around 50 degrees!

An even colder air mass will settle in by the end of the week with high pressure Thursday evening and Friday.  This will potentially bring temperatures down into the low 30's both nights with widespread frost looking possible.  Breezy winds Thursday night and cloud cover Friday night may keep the frost from getting too widespread or thick, or keep temperatures from falling to freezing.  But if the winds aren't strong and the cloud cover is quick to move out, I wouldn't be surprised if one of those nights the temperature will fall to freezing.
