Skies overnight were partly to mainly cloudy, but have become mainly cloudy across the entire Stateline throughout the morning hours.
Even with the clouds across the Stateline, much of the area is waking up to a beautiful sunrise this Thursday morning. Our MercyHeath Skycam overlooking the Poplar Grove Airport shows the sunshine trying to peak through.

Even though we are going to be warming up into the weekend, winter isn't giving up easily. Some light snow is possible late tonight and into Friday. Thanks to high pressure off to our north, there is plenty of dry air funneling into the area. The greatest chance for accumulating snow should stay of to our south and west.
Much of the Stateline should see a light coating to upwards of an inch of snow by the time it is all said and done tomorrow.
