Next Rain Chance

As you'll notice in our current 7-day forecast, we have a chance of rain in there for Friday night and Saturday morning. A slow-moving warm front heading into the area this weekend will be the culprit. However, our computer forecast models generally indicate the rain that falls with this front will be very light. The reason for this is the warm front will meet a stabilizing area of high pressure in the upper atmosphere, which will tend to suppress the precipitation process. --TS
