October Chill Sticking Around

Temperatures across the Stateline have plummeted this week and the long term forecast shows those chilly conditions aren't going anywhere.

Looking at the 7-Day, temps will gradually cool into the 40s by next week. While rain chances won't pose many issues during the day, anything that lingers later into the evening could have a few snowflakes mixing in.

A few things to note. We are a long ways off from normal highs this time of year, which are right around 60°. As for the rest of October, the Climate Prediction Center shows a very likely chance (74%) that temps will stay below normal through end of the month. -BA
