Rainfall totals so far range from just a few hundreths of an inch up to three tenths this morning. Showers will continue through the remainder of the morning.
Low pressure moving through Illinois has pulled in enough moisture and generated enough lift for showers to develop early this morning. Steady rain will continue through 9am/10am with drizzle and cloud cover lasting through Noon. Temperatures today will be held down due to the cloud cover and are expected to only rise into the middle 50s. A few breaks in the overcast will be possible around sunset tonight.
Make sure to grab the jacket and umbrella before heading out the door this morning.
