Strong Storms Possible on Friday

While severe weather in the Stateline is possible in October, we certainly don't talk about it a whole lot. This Friday is one of those times where we could see a few strong to severe storms.

The main threat area on Friday will be areas like Iowa and southern Minnesota, but creeps into the western parts of the viewing area. The biggest concern with this system will be the timing. Current models have these storms moving in Friday evening, which would obviously put a lot of high school football games in jeopardy, regardless of the severity of the storms.

On the plus side, this system will bring some much needed rain to the Stateline. Current forecasts show an inch or more of rain will be possible with rain chances through the weekend.
