Nice Start To The Week, Then A Midweek Storm

It took 7 days for us to finally get our latest storm system to exit the Stateline area, definitely a stubborn storm!  Now that it is moving on we will enjoy at least a couple of days with warmer temperatures and looks at the sun.  Our high temperatures will reach the 70's for at least the next 3 days.

On the horizon, as we might expect is our next storm system, currently bringing rain to the mountains.  Luckily it will take a few days to get here so we can enjoy some dry weather.  The unique thing about this system is how slowly it will move through the Stateline.  The cold front will approach our area bringing chances for rain and thundershowers on Wednesday, and then a new low pressure center will form to our south, bringing new chances for rain and thunderstorms on Thursday. The cold front will strengthen and finally push through on Friday just in time for the weekend - hopefully before Friday night football!

We will notice big changes in temperatures after this system pushes through and could see a high Saturday only in the upper 50's!  Fall is definitely taking hold!
