Tuesday's Travel Troubles

After a beautiful start to the work week, another round of snow will impact the Stateline starting late Monday night. Here's what you can expect if you have to commute on Tuesday:

Snow will begin falling after midnight and be at its heaviest Tuesday morning. A quick 1-2" of snow is expected to make roads slick for the morning commute, so make sure you take some extra time getting out the door. Winds will pick up for the afternoon as light snow continues to fall, which will make for low visibilities and snow covered roads for the evening commute.

Because of the blowing and drifting snow we're expecting, most of the Stateline will be under a Winter Weather Advisory on Tuesday.

As far as snow totals, 1-2" of snow will be possible along the I-88 corridor, with 2-4" possible for the rest of the Stateline. The heaviest totals will be in southern Wisconsin. Safe driving Tuesday! -BA
