(11:50:58 AM) nwsbot: Local Storm Report by NWS MKX: Monroe Airport [Green Co, WI] awos reports NON-TSTM WND GST of M47.00 MPH at 11:35 AM CST -- keft

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect throughout the day for the following counties: Green, Rock, Walworth, Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Ogle, Lee and DeKalb.  There have already been reports of blowing snow and near white-out ground conditions this morning as wind gusts have reached 35 to 40 mph from the southwest.  Additional light snow moving in from the north this morning will only cause visibility to further decrease and cause road conditions to continue to deteriorate.  A report coming in from the weather department at Northern Illinois University states a little after 10am visibility was down to 50 feet on Bethany Road just east of Rt. 23 in Sycamore
and near Annie Glidden Road northwest of DeKalb.  Ground blizzard conditions being reported.  Please report any weather conditions or road hazards to: weather@wtvo.com
