Watching Rain for Election Day
If you're planning on early voting, today is the last day to do that! Forecast for our Monday though is fantastic with lots of sunshine and highs well above average in the mid 60's! Clouds though will be on the increase around dinner time, we turn partly cloudy and then mostly cloudy overnight. The cause of the clouds is an incoming cold front, our winds will be from the south and we start to draw in a bit more moisture ahead of the front. Most of the moisture will arrive tonight as skies turn cloudy, though dry conditions look to hold out through most of the evening.
With the cold front on our doorstep tomorrow morning, a few showers will arrive from the west and head east through the morning hours. Best chance for rain will be from about 4-9am tomorrow morning, with rain then moving south before noon. Rain totals won't amount to much, about a tenth of an inch at most across the region. Again, we dry up just before lunch time so the weatherisk will go down to Low once again, and if you can take an extended lunch it would be a good time to go out and vote if you were planning on it!
The rest of the week remains dry and above average in term of temperatures, though temperatures will fall closer to average by the end of the week.
