The sunshine Thursday afternoon was an absolute treat. Unfortunately, it didn't do much to warm our temperatures as we spent most of the day in the low to mid 20's. High pressure moving overhead Thursday evening will allow temperatures to fall into the mid teens before rising into the low 20's by Friday morning.
Winds will shift around to the south Thursday night, and then to the southwest by sunrise Friday. Winds speeds will increase mid-morning, gusting around 35 mph throughout the day. This will pull an unseasonably warm air mass into the Midwest and Great Lakes. Temperatures will warm from the low 20's in the morning, to the low 40's by Friday afternoon.
