First Hurricane of the Season?

We've had a few tropical depressions as well as tropical storms move through the Atlantic, but none of them have made it to hurricane strength.  That may change within the next week as there are a couple disturbances that are being watched out in the Atlantic and a couple of our models are developing a hurricane in the Gulf of Florida by next Friday.

Certainly a lot can change within the next week but it's something to keep an eye.
