Some Fog Overnight...Delightful Weather Monday & Tuesday

A large area of comfortable high pressure stretches from Lake Superior across northern Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas. This high will provide the Stateline with very nice weather for the next couple of days. It will be clear and cool tonight with a low in the upper 50's. There could be some patchy fog after midnight. The fog will burn off quickly in the morning and you will get a day with full sunshine, comfortable humidity, and light winds with an afternoon high temperature in the low 80's. It won't be quite as cool on Monday night, and with more sunny skies on Tuesday, the temperature will climb to around 84 degrees in the afternoon.  The center of the high will shift eastward to near central Pennsylvania by daybreak on Wednesday.  With the high in this position a southerly wind flow will develop across the Mississippi valley in advance of the next cold front which will be stretching from northwestern Wisconsin, northwestern Iowa, and northwest Kansas. There will be a good chance of showers and thunderstorms by afternoon as the front approaches from the northwest.  Some of those storms may approach severe limits with hail and strong winds.  The front will move through the Stateline before midnight, and  be well east of the Stateline by daybreak on Thursday.  Another nice spell of weather will settle into the area with lots of sunshine and seasonal temperatures on Thursday & Friday.  No significant systems will move through the area next weekend, but some weak disturbances could cause some scattered to isolated showers and thunderstorms.  High temperatures will be in the low 80s under partly cloudy skies.
