You may have heard about the record number of deaths at Yosemite National Park. What you may not have heard is that the weather is to blame for at least six of the 14 deaths that have occurred there! The cool, wet spring and summer along with a heavy snowpack in the high country upstream have lead to higher than normal runoffs into rivers and streams.
