This is More Like It!
A large cool Canadian air mass will slide slowly across the mid west during the next 48 hours. Not only is it comfortably cool, it is much drier than what the Stateline is used to. Our dew points have dropped into the 50's. The strato-cumulus clouds that developed during the afternoon will evaporate during the night, skies will become mostly clear and the brisk northwesterly winds will diminish allowing overnight temperatures to drop into the mid to upper 50's. It will be mostly sunny and very comfortable on Wednesday with a northwest breeze of 6 to 12 mph along with an afternoon high around 76 degrees. The center of the high will pass overhead on Wednesday night. Winds will be light and variable, and with clear skies the temp will drop to near 55 degrees. The high will shift over to Ohio, and winds will shift to the south, but it will still be comfortable under mostly sunny skies on Thursday with a high around 79. The next chance of showers and thunderstorms will be on Friday, and will continue into Saturday.
