The last two days have been interesting, especially when you look at the temperatures the Stateline has seen. Rockford saw a high of 92° Tuesday, which tied a record, but that's not all.
Monday's low was 33°. Combine that with Tuesday's record high, and Rockford has set the record for the largest one day warm-up in May and the second largest one day warm-up ever. The new top five lists can be found below:
FUN FACT: Despite the unusually cold temperatures to start the year, only 2010 (May 10th) had an earlier first 90° than this year over the past decade.
