Severe Storms Possible Tonight

After a round of severe weather on Sunday, another round of strong storms will be possible Monday night.

RADAR: Here's the radar with watches and warnings as of 5:40pm. As you can see, tornado watches extend into west central Illinois with a line of potent thunderstorms. At this time, there are no watches or warnings for the Stateline.

TIMING: If the current line holds, the Stateline should start seeing storm activity around 9:00 or 10:00pm. The best chances for severe weather will continue through the early morning hours... around 2:00 or 3:00am.

THREATS: At this time, there is little threat for any tornadic storms. Much like Sunday night, we are looking at storms that could produce strong winds and hail.

We will keep you posted through the night as we know more about this next round of potentially strong thunderstorms. -BA
